Reduce Energy Cost

Using Renewable Energy Will Reduce Global Warming

The use of renewable energy will have a major effect on global warming.  The biggest reason for global warming is all of the pollutants that are produced by using non-renewable resources.  Using renewable energy will produce no pollutants into the atmosphere.

Thermal solar power is one of the ways to use renewable energy.  Thermal solar power uses the heat of the sun to produce electricity. Photovoltaic is the process that converts light directly into electricity.   A thermal mass system can store energy for daily or seasonal durations.  Since it uses the sun as a form of power it is constantly being charged.  Even on a cloudy day the sun produces a lot of heat.

Solar Power Information

With  the  economy declining and the cost of living rising many people are turning to natural energy.  Using solar power is a good way to reduce energy costs.

Solar power is power that is derived from the sun.  One of the ways to use solar power is by hooking solar panels up to your house.

In side solar panels are solar cells. Solar cells are like little batteries that collect all of the solar power (sunlight). You can then convert the power of the solar cell to power your house.

The technology to use solar panels is not new. It is the same technology that is used in the lights you use around your driveway that are powered by the sun. The cost of solar panels is pricey. To have someone come to your house and convert it to solar energy the price tag would be in the thousands.

If you don’t have thousands of dollars to get solar panels put in your house you can make them yourself for a fraction of the price. It is more work to make them yourself but homemade solar panels work just as well as commercial built ones.

One of the neat things about using solar power is that if you bring in more energy then your house needs then your meter actually goes backwards. The electricity company will actually pay you instead of you paying them. What a concept!
